Let’s start 2022 with a bang!
The Plantterra’s first event, “Art for the Terra,” is an art festival where contestants will be able to let their creative side shine for the environment.
Contestants from all over the world can send their artwork centered around saving the earth and preserving the beauty of the environment. It is a chance not only to receive awards and/or certificates, but also a chance to meet like-minded people who also have the same drive and passion for the arts and the environment.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the competition! There are no restrictions on age. And as long as it’s digital, any type of art is acceptable.
The contest spans four levels, and contestants will be submitting one artwork per round. When submitting their artwork, contestants must submit a video of creating the art themselves, ensuring there are no scam registrations. Your artwork must be done solely by you.
The most crucial requirement is that the artwork’s content must not contain any swear words in any language, and it must not contain any sexual or improper imagery.
Participants will go to next levels based on the points they get! Points will be based on: Look (10 points) + Meaning (15 points) + Message clarity (15 points) = 40 points total for every round/participant. The points will be calculated using the votes of The Plantterra’s leaders and team members. For the finale, the overall points gained will be added together with the chief guest’s evaluation.
All contestants will receive a certificate of participation, while the participants shortlisted to the next levels will receive merit certificates. There will be one finalist and one first runner-up!
Still the 5 best artworks from “any round” will receive special awards in these categories:
- The most meaningful artwork
- The most eye-catching artwork
- The best information delivered
- The most innovative artwork
- The most creative artwork
We chose for this competition to be digital because we want to use no paper, therefore protecting and saving our trees. So by deciding to join this event, you will also be participating in our environmental movement.
The contest application period (which is considered as the first round) has begun on January 5th and will end on February 20th. The shortlisted participants from the first round will be announced someday between the 20th to 23rd of February. Overall competition will last till the first week of March (finale date will be announced soon!)
